Oh ok I forgive you!

Partied too much? Had some family troubles? Got sick? Became a new parent? Got a new job? Or slacked way too much? There are a million reasons why we may get a bad grade in a class, but there's hope! FIU's forgiveness policy allows you to make-up a maximum of 3 courses (for undergraduate sudents) and 2 courses (for graduate students) and replace your old grade with the new one. Note that the GPA recalculation is only valid at FIU, other universities may not recoginize this. If you need to use the forgivness policy check with your department in order to fill out the proper form and have your new grade replace your old one.
